Yesterday was Adrian's third birthday party. Was going to be good, but, alas, a coldfront blew in and ruined it. I would say that, if it wasn't for the fact that most of the kids played on the bouncer for most of the time while the parents sat inside and ate brisket sandwitches and frito pies. The cake was deliciously not-lie moist.
I'm going to drain that reference dry! Mwhahaha!!
In other news, I got my yarn for the Bear Flag scarf:

All are Wool of the Andes yarn from Knitpicks.com, from Cris's gift certificate that I got in Christmas. Colors are, on top, Pumpkin, White, and Coal. On the bottom are Chocolate, Cloud, Daffodil, and Mist. I have yet to see whether or not to put in the Claw Motif. I don't think so.
The lava lamp on the side was Mom's gift. It's cool and gives a nice pink glow when the lights go out. The books that show is my collection of 'occult' books, dealing with various forms of magick. I occasionally pull one out for reference.

Ah, that is a dilemma. Either rich cherry crepes or omelette aux champignons. Honeyed pancakes or scrapple. Pandulce or barbacoa.
I usually go for sweetened tea. ;)
Today marks Cris's birthday, who is 21 once again.
What?
Anywho, she has to work. I'm here, wondering if the tea was too strong for my poor tired hands.
Hah!
Anywho, today is not bad. It's hot. I mean, in the mid-80's. Come on! My scarf and hat need an airing out! Sheesh.
Woke up rather early, much to my dismay, and sang the usual birthday song to Cris [we do this all of the time. hush]. Went out with mom and got some sweet bread for my breakfast:

Brewed up a pot of tea [black] and got the usual fixings: sugar, jam, butter, and bread. Had a nice breakfast.
And I knit!

One of the new colorways that Red Heart had, and I got a couple of skeins for a scarf and hat. It's a birthday gift to Sam, since his birthday's in a few weeks [If you're reading this, dude, act surprised when you get them].
I'm getting into the point of knitting while drinking tea. It's something interesting. And it wiles away the hours that I spend at home [the tea's getting cold *knitknitknit*].
So, hope everyone's alright. Nothing worrisome hopefully.
